  4. Well, cloud, you won’t be hearing as much from me for a while…  My primary computer (my laptop) has one of those great nVidia GEForce 8600m chips that are known for a litttle higher than average failure rate.

    Now my laptop is being unstable and Kernel Paniking (I loaded up Ubuntu to help troubleshoot the issue).  Heck, it even locked up while running the diagnostics tools off of a Flash Drive.

    Hopefully Dell’s warranty support team takes care of me, since I still have just under a year left on the warranty.  Considering just how many Dell and nVidia products we own in this house, a defect is to be expected, and as long as they are responsible about fixing it I’ll be happy.  Kind of wish I had on-site warranty support though, I’ll miss the lappy if I have to ship it out.
